April 2016: Simplex has released the innovative Infrared Spectral Detector (ISD) with SmartIR™ software. The ISD is designed for provide real time evolved gas identification for Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA). It includes a heated transfer line and a remote signaling cable for easy connection and coordination with the TGA. The system is fully  Autosampler compatible requiring no user interaction while the samples are being run. The included 3000+ compound reference database aids in the real time identification of gases. Data for each sample is stored in a file for further examination. Individual spectra can be extracted for viewing in most software packages plus a Text file of the results can be exported for imported into the TGA software or Excel.
